Pilot Sport All Season 4 Vs Pilot Sport As 3

Late last year i replaced them with pilot sport all season 4 which i like. I hope for only a 10% range reduction.

Pilot sport all season 4 vs pilot sport as 3. The new pilot sport as 4 improves on previous all season tyre with 4% better dry braking, 5% better wet braking and 10% more snow traction. These tires have awesome grip for 3 seasons, but you must be careful in driving at snow and ice. Michelin was 2.7km/h slower, than the leader.

And unless i've confused myself it seems like the s is a softer more sporty / summer compound and the standard 4 is a bit more all season. I jumped the gun and bought the michelin all season 3+ in 285/35/18. The new uhp tire is built for the motorist who is looking to get the maximum out of their vehicle.

Am i off the mark or is that. Edit going for the all season 4 after some thinking need opinions on this, i recently placed an order for apex ec7 wheels 18x10 et 40. Michelin stepped up the light snow traction considerably when transitioning from the pilot sport a/s 3 to the pilot sport a/s 3+, so it would be understandable if the latest generation, the pilot sport all season 4, made modest improvements over.

The pilot might not be as famous as the potenza, but that does not mean that it is any less worthy. Late to the party, but on our m3, we replaced the oem mxm4s with pilot sport a/s 3+ a couple of years ago. Michelin’s competitor to the potenza is the pilot sport 4.
